The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild eschewed the semi-linear, borderline predictable path of the 3D Zelda games before it in favor of a bold, crazy new approach: let players do what they want, how they want, and in whatever order they decide jugar blackjack multihand vip online. By marrying an open-ended approach to quest structure with the ability to freely explore a vast, beautiful, intriguing world with little specific regulation, the 3D Zelda game template was shattered about as fast as the average breakable weapon in Breath of the Wild. The result is a gorgeous, freeing open-world action/adventure experience that evokes the wonder and fear of exploring a bold new place with the empowering tangibility of becoming its hero. – Brian Altano (Read Our Review)

Super Metroid was a true achievement when it arrived in 1994 and it’s still influencing the games that you’re playing today. The action stuck to its side-scrolling, exploration-based roots, but evolved in some notable ways. Samus gained the ability to shoot in all directions and our sense of control over the adventure was further improved by the addition of the automap and inventory screen. With state-of-the-art visual and audio design, its creepy atmosphere, and expanded mechanics that encouraged exploration, Nintendo delivered a silent crawl through a hostile alien world that the industry has never quite gotten over. Almost two decades later, and no other entry in the series has ever quite lived up to its brilliance.

“I don’t know if I’ve ever quite seen an inning like this, especially in a World Series or postseason game,” Jeter said. “Look, the Yankees made some mistakes. You can’t make mistakes against a team like the Los Angeles Dodgers. That particular inning, you gave them six outs.”
Seager won his first of two World Series MVPs by slashing .400/.556/.700 for the Dodgers against the Rays. After already capturing the NLCS MVP trophy, Seager scored seven runs, hit two homers and had five RBIs in the World Series. Seager won another World Series MVP last season with the Texas Rangers.
11:56 p.m. — PITCHING CHANGE. Trienen wraps up the inning with a Torres groundout, leaving just six outs remaining in what could be the Yankees 2024 season. Kahnle replaces Holmes to start the eighth with Kiké on deck.

Game 1 world series
• Giancarlo Stanton made his mark earlier in the game with a two-run homer, his fourth straight game going yard. He’s the first player in postseason history with multiple streaks of homering in at least four straight games. Stanton is the third to hit at least six home runs in multiple postseasons, joining Corey Seager and Cruz.
His drive into the right-field pavilion sent Dodgers fans into a frenzy. It was the third walk-off homer in World Series history for a team that was trailing, following Gibson’s shot and Joe Carter’s drive for the Toronto Blue Jays that won the 1993 World Series against Philadelphia.
Against the Royals (ALDS) and Guardians (ALCS), you can maybe get away with giving up an extra 90 feet now and then. Not against a team as good as the Dodgers though. Play mistake-filled baseball against this club and you’re going to be on the losing side more often than not. The Yankees learned that the hard way in Game 1.
